Former Locomotives
'Wren'
Wren was once a member of the DMR's fleet; this loco was a steam outline battery locomotive of a LNER Gresley A4 Pacific. Not much is currently known about the locomotive or where it went after leaving our railway.

'Bluebottle'
Bluebottle is another former loco of the railway. It was an 0-4-4 Tinkerbell. Like Wren not much is known about the loco though it joined the railway around 2018. Sadly there are no images of Bluebottle. She was sadly scrapped a year after completion.

'Jess'
Jess is a privately owned locomotive and was the newest steam locomotive to join our fleet here at DMR. She is based on 'Lilla' a Quarry Hunslet and is a foot longer than the common 'Alice' class of quarry hunslet, built to Ross Harrisons design in 4 inch scale.
Jess is the last 7 1/4 narrow gauge locomotive to be built by her builder who completed her in early 2023; she is in ex-works condition and has never been steamed. There are a few minor modifications to do to her before she can come into traffic alongside her compatriots.​
